Katherine Jackson can't make it on a $26,000-a-month allowance ... so she's asking for more.

TMZ found a judge's order filed yesterday in the Michael Jackson Estate case, in which the judge notes, "Counsel will give notice of proposed action re: adjustment to family allowance for the benefit of Katherine Jackson."

TMZ has already reported Katherine pulls in a temp allowance of $26,804 a month.

The document does not say how much more Katherine wants, but it's pretty ironic since she's making a lot of money on the side.

Make her live on $26k a year. Make her rent a bedroom in somebody's basement and drive a 12-year-old Cavalier. Make her shop at Super Wal-Mart with a thick envelope of coupons. Make her eat Great Value brand food and wear off-the-rack clothing. Make her avoid going to the doctor or dentist because she doesn't have insurance, or because she's irrationally afraid that they'll find something expensive wrong.

The sense of entitlement of the wealthy is impressive.

Can't you see she hasn't had a decent manicure in days? Her hair looks a shambles, and I don't know what is going on with those Salvation Army clothes. Do you really expect her to eat out less than 5 times a week? And at someplace OTHER THAN SPAGOS? When someone is starving, you're all "cry baby wah wah", but where's your precious compassion for this poor woman WHO MIGHT EVEN HAVE TO SELL ONE OF HER HOMES! Rumor has it she is behind on bills, and the country club doesn't pay for itself, and neither does the household staff. If someone else doesn't foot the bill, who will?

11. Joe Jackson used the "eating out" defense once, if I remember correctly...

...it was while Michael was still alive. He was sniffing around for more money like a pig hunts truffles and said something along the lines of how he ate out frequently at five star restaurants and that "adds up."
