Series finale of "Big Love". They killed Bill. I think I'm going to miss all the goings on with the family and the Juniper Creek disfunction junction escapades.

because the internet does not like unwanted spoilers.

8. I wondered the past few weeks if anyone was watching... |

I didn't see any threads... Yes, I'm going to miss the show, even though it had gotten a little over-the-top (or maybe it was always really over-the-top)... But it was so original.
But, when they claim to have tied up all the loose ends in the finale, I really don't think they did... For instance, what the heck happened to the poor neighbor's wife--Margine's friend, now faced with being tossed from her church because of debt, having her husband tried for murder, and already bankrupted from the Gojo juice and unemployment. What happens to Bill's business partner, who always stood by him--into loss of their business? Those are the first two things that come to mind.... ???

10. yes...which I have already watched... I don't get your point? |

Spoiler means don't enter the thread if you don't want to know what happens. So, I guess I don't understand your point?
The questions I have were not addressed in the series finale, which I just watched so I was interested in getting others ideas on how that would have resolved--discussing the finale.... Are you mad that I am asking questions about the finale? I don't get it....

11. don't know about the neighbor |
|
but my imagination has the business partner as just fine. Seeing how people flocked to the Church for Easter, and the wives kept their houses... the business rebounded. Bill is immortalized as a martyr. The Church is seen as progressive and pro-woman now with Barbara achieving the Priesthood and with his last speech before the State Senate.

I like that take on it and yes, the partner certainly seemed ok in the last scene we had with him. So, I like to think the wives reached out to the neighbor to help her out as well. ;)

Margie and Barbara would obviously have taken the neighbor under their wing to make sure she was okay.. Nikki probably felt spiteful and vengeful.. but her good angels that want to save abused wives took over and finally agreed with the other two to provide a safe place for the neighbor wife.
Totally sucks tho that they had to kill Bill :(

14. Yup... absolutely... BTW, do you know who recorded "God only Knows" |
|
for the finale?
Though on indefinite hiatus, Dixie Chick's own, Natalie Maines stepped up to do so. ;)

There is also a 30 minute documentary of the creators and actors talking about their roles and the show. Its pretty good. I'm surprised how much vie enjoyed this show and I've only watched this season. I need to rent the DVDs.
