1. I watched the first season and gave it up |
|
Although I like the premise of the story, I hated all the cast except Walter. I have since seen Anna Torv in another series and liked her, so I think it may be the direction rather than the players themselves.

3. Fringe is my favorite show right now. Noble is the best actor on television and Torv is splendid. |
|
The show works for me and I glad it is coming back for a fourth season.

6. Fox's entertainment shows are some of the best on the old networks. |

Fox entertainment and Fox news are two different things.
I know it's easy to confuse the two, as they both deal in fiction.
That said, I don't watch Fringe. Reminded me too much of that Mulder and Scully show, which I didn't like at all after they started hunting aliens instead of monsters.
(EDIT: Punctuation, and tightened it up a bit.)

7. I do... great cast and they give the WOMAN a strong lead role |
|
While I am not normally a major fan of scifi (with a few notable exceptions of course), the eccentricities of this series appeal to me. Who could not love Walter, after all. And, yeah, having a strong female lead character, like Oliva, that likewise gives the lead actress a chance to show their chops with their alternate character is really nice.
Funny how few shows that I watch anymore are on the Big THree networks. Fringe, Mad Men, Justified, the Closer, and of course HBO/Showtime fare when I can see it-- just head and shoulders above most of the network crap.

and it was creative storytelling.:-). fresh, interesting ways of telling stories are so rare in tv, and for that matter in movies as well.
