5. I dont quite see them matching up well against the tanks

At Fort Hood in Texas. The apes would get slaughtered once the humans brought in jets, drones, and tanks. Plus i'd love to see then try to take Moscow and other cold weather cities. So they'd have to follow the original story and have the humans start a nuclear war.
