51-year-old "Lost" (no shit!) actor marries 16-year-old country singer

Talk about a strange couple. E! Online reports that actor Doug Hutchison of 'The Green Mile' and 'Lost' has married country singer Courtney Stodden in Las Vegas. This may not seem out of the ordinary until you consider that Hutchison is 51, while Stodden is a mere 16-years-old.

The couple provided a statement to E!:

"We're aware that our vast age difference is extremely controversial," the couple said through their spokeswoman.

"But we're very much in love and want to get the message out there that true love can be ageless."

My cousin is male. His wife had the grown children.

However, the odds are staggering. This poor girl will not only be deprived of raising 16 year old hell, her friends will have to be his friends and she'll lack contemporaries completely. His friends will be amused if she's lucky, patronizing if she's not.

That's the main reason these things usually fail pretty quickly. After the initial passion is over, all they have left is mismatch and isolation.
