27' Pearson Sailboat for Sale

[Old and In the Way]

I have a boat I'm looking to sell to the right DU'er. The boat has been on stands for the past 5 years and needs some TLC and deck repairs (fiberglas), and electronics upgrade. What you get is classic Pearson deepwater sailing. Sleeps 5, galley/LR, forward bunks. Lockable bathroom. Solid fixed keel. Sails and handles great in open water. Main, jibs (2), and genoa. Longshaft outboard.

Neither my bro (in Florida) nor I have had time to focus on the boat these past few years (the usual business, and family priorities). Anyway, we have to find a home for it soon....our berthing spot (on display - Southern Maine on the coast) has been retaken by the town on an emminent domain basis.

Anyway, this is a semi-restoration project, but the price is totally negotiable. Would make a great group investment/work project....why not cruise the NE coast and Canadian Maritimes the way it was meant to be seen? (maybe a DU'er vessel)? PM me for pics and or more details.

Would consider legitimate fundraider opportunity where we could share proceeds.
