9. hey, the books avatar! |
|
fwiw- those are part of a 15 vol. series of Shakespeare from 1853 published in London. I took that picture, for good or bad... it's part of a series of pictures for something else. anyway, the thing I love about this series is that the binders used old ledger sheets to make the supers on all the books... the books' covers are loose and the supers are viewable. I tried lining them up to see if I could read the sheets... the handwriting is in ink that has mostly faded to brown.
... and if you can't tell, I like books.
Are you happy with your service and returns on Amazon and Alibris? Do you use ABE too? If not, why not? Do you have a steady on-site biz for most of your sales, or are you principally selling online?
I have some things to sell online but haven't done it yet. Just wondered about others' experiences.

I go thru the Alibris portal because it's a convenient one-stop selling experience.
They move my inventory onto Amazon, Barnes, Borders, Half.com etc.
I've had no issues with them at all, nor with Amazon.
I don't use ABE, but no particular reason why not.
