6. We're not a puppy mill; we just love the breed

We take good care of our dogs and puppies. I don't think lovingly raising puppies at home, treating them like members of the family, comprises a puppy mill.

The father dog was registered by the Continental Kennel Club and was bought in Florida; the mother was bought in Pennsylvania. Both parents are on the premises and are treated as family, spoiled rotten. My roomie just thought she'd want to breed the dogs because of their gentle temperament. We are responsible and do not abuse the puppies in any way, shape, or form.

2. Please adopt from shelters

rather than support breeders or puppy mills. Unless you're going to show the dog at Westminster or something.

If you're going to show a dog, you're not going to get it from a posting on a website from someone who sounds like they decided to breed them on a whim. MILLIONS of dogs are euthanized every year, we don't need more litters of "purebreds."
