6. I dunno exactly. I like sterling and simple stones. |
|
Or glass beads. I prefer earth tones, generally speaking unless it's a natural stone KWIM?

7. i like earth tones, too |
|
i heard that they will be back 'in style' this summer, as opposed to pink, which i thought was vile!
i have:
garnets in all shapes and sizes.
squares of mother of pearl that are lightly dyed in brown, green and blue.
amber
peridot
green aventurine
carnelian
smoky quartz
amethyst
bamboo coral (dyed)
i also have a lot of hand-blown glass beads that my kids' dad makes. i have some purple white hearts, about a size 8 pony bead. i have some cobalt and seed beads, lot of japanese delicas.
send me your email address, and i can send some photos if you like.
i am a bead junkie. it is BAD!

4. Put a clasp on those turquoise nuggets..... |
|
Necklace went for $90 last week in the vintage jewelry category. I was watching it because I just bought one at an estate auction for $10 w/14ct clasp. I am feeling the urge not to part with it :(

i do have a LOT of turquoise necklaces already strung up. i sell at flea markets, etc. this is just a strand i wanted to move.
sounds like you got a great deal! turquoise is going back up in value. it was down for a while, now it's back 'in' - lol. i live in the southwest. it's always 'in'.
