Anyone have a Garmin GPS StreetPilot c330 they no longer use? |

I had one, gave it to my daughter. I liked the unit because it was user friendly.
My new(used) Honda has a built-in GPS but the unit maps are from 2005 and Honda wants almost $300 to get an update. I got so lost in Boston with dated maps that I gave the unit to her. She travels more than I do and it is good for distances.
If you have one with maps from at least 2009(Need it for Boston Big Dig routes), with charger, I'd be willing to buy it for a fair price. I have searched ebay and none of the units mention the date of the latest installed map. I don't know what Garmin charges for map updates. but I'm a little short on extra funds so I'd rather buy one that has the current maps.
Thanks
On Edit: Just read that I may be able to update the unit free(I think) from Garmin if I have the Communicator plug-in. Whoops, checked again, not free. This whole idea may not work, the unit is discontinued. I don't know the last update available. It is no good to me if I can't get maps through 2009.

1. I think most of the GPS units are easy to use without having to read the manual much. |

I bought a Magellan Roadmate from TigerDirect last year. It provides for 1 free update on the refurbished unit.

2. I love my Garmin. I don't drive a whole lot but I have gotten lost in my own neighborhood |

Seriously. I especially love the "Home" button.

3. This is just why I need a new one and the c330 is simple enough |

for me. I an technologically, digitally, electronically challenged. I don't want any real bells and whistles like my son-in-law has on his super-duper model. I just need to get from here to there--currently, not via 2006 maps.
Ebay has a ton for sale cheap and I bet none are up to date. I wish there was a way to mass e-mail the sellers and tell them I'd buy theirs if the map was 2009 or better. The last of a major road building project was finished near me in 2008 and none of that work is on the old maps. Before I gave the GPS away, I tried to get from my house to South Station in Boston and spent an hour going around in circles. Nothing conformed.
The home button is the best thing for me. If all else fails.........
