Is Religion the biggest wedge used by various oligarchs and one-percenters to keep voters separated in their smaller, controllable groups?
On any given day, how many headlines reference some religious issue about you-name-it stuff with little more effect than to inflame everyone's sense of righteousness and anger?
Everyone's attention gets diverted into impossibly convoluted issues involving too many social/political/personal identities with the bottom line of making everyone think all society's problems are unsolvable?
When our real problems are financial/economic, and due to the unscrupulous manipulation of our financial and legal systems?
When our Constitutional Republic lives or dies by the rule of law, who is it serving to keep people fighting, to keep people afraid and partitioned into enclaves?

3. Next to nationalism, race and gender, pretty much. |

The energies spent arguing against any particular religion, or religion in general, well serve the ruling classes.
They're laughing.
