If it's not a problem to teach your young children the blatant lie that jesus loves them then it shouldn't be a problem to tell teach them that if someone named jesus tries to love them they should call the cops.

5. Each of us is entitled to celebrate our own beliefs (or lack thereof)

in our own way.

As I understand it, school officials cannot advocate for or establish religion in the school. A school employee cannot post a sign or teach about religion in the school.

But, children can talk about or practice their religion in the schools as long as the initiative comes from the child or children. A child can give a report about religion, as I understand it, but the teacher cannot read from a book that is religious.

Correct me if I am wrong. It has been some years since I dealt with this question, but I think this is the law. Government employees have to be neutral about religion, neither promoting nor condemning or making difficult the practice of religion.

funny how religious people get a pass on teaching children about a god, but when the tables are turned, it becomes possibly an "offensive" issue. The irony... talk about entitlement, and yes, the overtly religious are THE MOST self-entitled hypocrites.
