Bob Bradley fired as coach of USMNT |
|
http://www.soccerbyives.net/soccer_by_ives/2011/07/bradley-fired-as-usa-coach.htmlI have a dream where Sunil Gulati shocks the world and hires Diego Maradona. But, it's probably someone like Klinsmann. Still, it was time for Bunker Bob to go.

Maradona. I can just imagine the press conferences. LOL. "...suck it and just keep sucking it." - Diego Maradona

10. They've dropped in rankings from like 13 to 24 |
|
And haven't played well along the way.

12. That's the worst in years. |
|
I think part of it is the 2007 Gold Cup win coming out of their stats. But really, they haven't played well against good teams since 2009.

13. Credit where it's due, the 2009 Confederations Cup was a good run |
|
It's all been downhill from there, though.

3. It is time for a change, but not for a dunk tank sitter like Maradona. |

Per Grant Wahl on twitter: US Soccer insider: "You're not going to be surprised" by identity of new coach.

14. I knew they were going to fire the coach |
|
I just didn't expect it would be the MEN'S coach! I mean, choking in the Gold Cup sucks, but it hardly compares to Pearl Harbor v2.0. :grr: :banghead: :nuke:
