Thanks Huskers and Purdue.
Back in control again. Win and we're in the conference championship game.

1. No wonder everyone looked so depressed today. |
|
I was at a bar down the street from OSU's campus-but it was a bar with no TVs (the Sooners bye week meant I could get out and do other things).

it's Nov 12th, and Wisconsin is on the verge of winning their FIRST road game of the season..
And no I don't count the neutral field game against N. Illinois..

If Michigan State gets into the championship game, BEAT them this time, okay? With no room for doubt.
Thanks.

5. It was as if Penn State were fated to lose today |
|
when they needed to reach deep in the 4th quarter, there wasn't anything down there...It would have been majorly skewed if they had won and paraded the game ball down to JoPa's palatial pigskin palace.
Nebraska was, in a sense, acting as honorary and official executioner for all of the USA, blowing in from the west to see that the job got done. The Blackshirts hung in there and held the Nittany Lions off on that final drive, but they could have been had by a more determined B1G team.

8. PSU was 8-1 and ranked #12 |
|
They had a Big Time team. Crap on their O if you must, but no way you get to be 8-1 in the Bigs without something under the hood.

Don't make me laugh. Penn State's offense does indeed suck, they have no decent QB to speak of. They have beaten almost nobody..the only other ranked team they played before yesterday was Alabama, who went in there and rolled over them..

10. Crap on the fallen if you must |

You are entitled to your poo-flinging view. But that's all it is: one claim from one anti-fan.
My view -- Huskers having just triumphed -- is that Penn State is a Big Time program and a Big Time team.
Because I am biased toward myself, I declare that my view is far superior and WAY more correct than yours.
Too bad you came up short on the DU Viewpoint Scoreboard, Upton. Please make your way to the loser's locker room for additional kvetching.

6. I don't know if anyone else attended a game today... |
|
but I can tell you this. Kinnick Stadium had no energy. None. First place on the line and the place was lifeless. Just a tough, tough week.
