no matter what the statistics say", moved on to. "Suh, it was silly of you to talk with Goodell" and finished with "Nelson is the most selfish player I've ever seen for what he did on the sidelines at Dallas". He sprinkled it with a bit of Tebow/Romo is/are underappreciated.

then, :) I think Bayless is just there for shock awe, I hope he doesn't fully agree with the points he argues. The only time I really started to like Bayless was when he would fill in on the Mike/Mike show, Bayless has a hard time talking over Greenie.

10. I'm sure a large part of his job is saying and taking controversial positions

just to make the show interesting. Having the two journalists sit there and agree with each other all the time would be pretty boring. Skip Bayless has won quite a few awards as a columnist so he obviously knows what he's talking about in regards to sports, but the TV gig requires more confrontational stances to gin up viewers.

I did not know Rick Bayless was his brother tho. I never made the connection on the last names or really noticed the resemblance.

I ignore Jim Rome, and the Dan Le Batard show like the plague. Around the Horn is iffy, PTI is just as iffy.

I usually watch Mike/Mike, than The Herd, that the SVP Show, then I zone out til SportsNation comes on.

1st and 10 isn't bad, its decent filler when there are commercials, or if The Herd has a fill in host(can't stand Doug Gottlieb).
