Are you ready for yet another Teblow comeback? |
|
I kenw this would happen once I saw SD not putting on many points...still in OT but Denver has the ball back.

3. Tebow is a joke. Denver is winning with defense. |
|
I've never seen such attention to a QB who can barely generate 150 yards of total offense most games. Hell, in one game he was 2 of 8 passing for 60 yards, and all you heard was Tebow this and Tebow that.

7. The team with most rushes wins 82% of the time in the NFL |
|
The media never mentions that but it's a fundamental stat that has held up for decades with virtually no change.
Since Tebow took over, Denver has rushed at least 30 times in every game and has had more rushes than the opponent every time, including the Detroit game.
It's basic football, an aspect that so many teams are ignoring in Tutu Goodell's NFL. The league is finesse crap all over the place, the number of rushes lower than I've ever charted. Heck, Denver ran the ball 13 times in the opener. Harbaugh hasn't done anything brilliant in San Francisco. He's simply applying the old standard of physical run oriented football in a league that basically doesn't want to be bothered in the trenches anymore. Ten or 15 years ago Harbaugh's approach would be .500 but in this league it's threatening to earn a playoff bye.
Admittedly, I had no idea Denver would be this resourceful. I thought it would be Tebow flopping in a modern pantyhose offense, hopelessly chucking the ball 35+ times per game. This version is brilliant and I'm enjoying it immensely, despite the obvious limitations against top teams.

12. Because teams with the lead typically run the ball to kill the clock. |

And teams that are trailing typically have to go to the air.

you enjoy good football and this is the furthest from good football.
The Broncs have enjoyed a very weak schedule the last 5 games and have averaged around 13 points a game. ugg
Their style of play is not sustainable in this league especially against good defensive teams.
You have to pass effectively in today's game...
