Would you want Tebow to replace your favorite team's starting quarterback? |
|
I realize good starting QBs are thin right now, so I would think that some might actually take the guy.
I'm a Packers fan, so my answer is no.

6. I was just guessing, based on a response from him on another thread. |
|
Oddly, none of the pro-Tebow trolls appear to want him to quarterback their team.

And as a Viking fan I have a rookie without nearly the accolades from college. I just don't think Tebow's throwing motion will get him very far. Though my years a Viking fan my have clouded my vision as to what a good QB is all about (though I grew up with Tarkenton).

There are a number of starting QBs I'd be happy to trade for him, were it in my power :)

Kordell Stewart, I'd take Tebow over his non-goods-delivering ass any day.

I still got love for Eli. He's had to take the team on his shoulders this year because the running game has been so bad.

Offense and defense are hardly separate entities. The Bronco defense would not be anywhere near this physical or effective if they were winging the ball on offense.

with the struggles of Alex Smith, I might have considered it. Now, I'm fine with Alex..for the time being.
Tebow may not have NFL QB qualities in the traditional sense. However, he's strong, enthusiastic, dedicated and hard working. Who wouldn't want a player with those qualities on his football team? He doesn't have to play QB to be effective..

20. I don't know about the old Alex Smith.. |
|
and though I realize having a different OC every year has hindered his development, at times Smith's play was so frustrating, just about anybody would have been preferable. Like I said, Tebow doesn't have to play the QB position to be valuable...with his running skills, he'd fit right in with the power rushing game Harbaugh prefers to use.

24. If not for Denver's much improved defense, we wouldn't be talking about Tebow |
|
For his sake, I hope Tebow is much more rugged than the average running back in the NFL, as that is what he essentially is right now, and average running backs often get dinged up and have to miss games.

Roethlesberger sometimes irritates me to no end. But, I'd rather have his skill set over Tebow's.
