But we've laid some big ass eggs in Denver over the last 50 years.

3. I'm actually glad they kind of sucked against Indy... |
|
means they'll do well in the coming weeks...they seem to do better against better teams and really have a letdown against shitty teams...with any luck Denver will be in first place in their division so the Pats will be motivated.

They took a Sunday nap after they hit 31....I get the feeling that there will be a few extra wind sprints this week.

I've got New England over 11.5 wins. Can't afford more than 1 more loss.
The identical bet on Green Bay cashed today. Darn it. I was willing to allow a defeat and risk one more week.
BTW, I think the Colts will set the record for futility on that proposition. Their over/under was 9.5 or 10 wins, depending when you shopped. Nobody has ever gone under the number by that many games. Invariably the inept seasons are courtesy of teams expected to suck.

7. I was nervous about this game with Indy. |
|
This is the type of game where the Pats could try to coast, Indie play way over their norm, and then have a couple of late game bad breaks go against the Pats. Obviously, that didn't happen. But the Bronc's could give them a real game.
As much as I've been thinking Tebow would be disaster for Denver, he's proven his critics wrong...so far. I only watched part of the game today, mainly the last 8 minutes....he was making some seriously good pass plays. Tebow has got the team believing in themselves, so anything's possible.
