3. I wonder where Case Keenum and Kellen Moore placed in the selection voting? |
|
I thought they both would be in.

5. Keenum could have been until he and his team fucked up the Southern Miss game |
|
Edited on Tue Dec-06-11 01:45 PM by MadBadger
You look at his numbers, 373 yards but on 67 throws? Thats not good, and 2 picks, 2 TDs, also not the greatest. For him to have won or be there in the end, he needed to have a big game, and he didnt.

Because he was anointed at the winner preseason? He simply didnt have the best season out there. Will he be the best NFL Player? Maybe. But thats not what this award is about.

7. He's better...and Stanford is better than Baylor and had a tougher schedule... |

Besides, Kellen should be in there...he'll probably make a better pro than the others.

And in what way do you determine he had a better season? I look at the stats and it isnt even close.

10. Maybe. But Baylor lost three games. Griffin has the better stats: |
|
Griffin: CMP ATT YDS CMP% YPA LNG TD INT SACK RAT 267 369 3998 72.4 10.84 87 36 6 23 192.3

8. They should clarify that award. |
|
It's supposed to go to the best college football *player* but the only defensive player to win was Woodson - who arguably wouldn't have had a chance if not for his kick returns.
So let's drop the silliness and just call it the Heisman Award for the best College Quarterback (or sometimes Running Back, or occasionally Wide Receiver).

11. RGIII's backup had the same or better stats |
|
in the game where RGIII went out at the half. Is it the QB or the system?
Trent Richardson played against at least 7 top 25 defenses, something none of the other candidates can claim.
