Batten Down the Hatches Lads the Captain Is Going To Sing |
|
Edited on Wed Mar-16-05 07:32 PM by oneighty
We ventured near the Nipponese Where the sun rises dripping red rising up from the bloody seas.
(Chorus) Batten down the hatches lads the Captains going to sing.
The winds then blowed black and fast And lightning flashed and splashed across the sea We heard from afar the Siren's song And high upon their waves we flew And they crashed us hard at last Upon the shores of the Nipponese
(Chorus) Crashed them hard at last upon the shores of the Nipponese. Batten down the hatches lads the captains going to sing.
I woke alone with broken bones Upon that distant shore. The sun rose high up in the sky And shed its warmth on me.
(Chorus) He woke alone with broken bones. Batten down the hatches lads the Captain is going to sing.
I will be rich I tell you as soon as I finish my song!
Hee hee hee.
180---Who has always sung a different song and marched to drummers that only he can hear.
PS. This is going to be a very long 'opera' full of love and heart break. I need Muse Rider to write the music. I will go ask her.

I really like it, really! I love people who sing a different song and walk to their own drummer. As for the music, my music writing skills are nil. Seriously, I made all the others in my composition class at school groan, I make myself groan and I would make you pull out your hair.
Another reason I love you and your sea stories. I love the ocean and love nothing more than being on a boat, any kind of boat where there is no land to be seen. I guess that comes from being in Kansas all my life.
You really have captured the feeling.

8. Would you like a copy Muse Rider? |
|
You will laugh and you will cry and you will say "Oh my 180 why you do that to me?"
Most likely.
It has a new title 'Batten Down the Hatches Lads the Captain Is Singing His Song'

Thirty seven cents will cover it. Tricia did not think I should use "Nipponese" and anyway I was writing about my girl friend over there long ago when the world was young and we were much in love. So I changed many things and now it is still about my girlfriend from long ago but only I know it and she would too. Now so do MuseRider and every body else reading here.
The Captain is singing his love story and his Siren's song. And I get all teared up. Sigh.

about her and the dog and her family. Your goodbye brought tears to my eyes every time I thought back about it. I would love to see a picture of her.
