1. I'm confused. What does the WGA have to say about this?

And what is meant by story plots? I mean, you could argue so far as to say there only exist a total of 36 plot lines....
This almost smells like a big studio trick to fend off the indie houses.

2. I dunno. but I'll be darned if I am going to publish a book only to

be sued because my plotline is too close to some patented one I have never read before. x( Smacks of a way to steal money from people who did all the work.
