Open call for submissions to our online literary magazine!

For those of you who have expressed an interest in this venture, please send to me (via p.m.) your first submission within the next week. Please submit only one story for each issue. This will probably be a quarterly venture, so hold onto your second gem for future issues.

Along with the story, you may submit the following (optional): a brief synopsis of your story--I think this might be helpful for those who might submit a story that is in a series of stories; your contact info, in case you're looking for an agent and want people to contact you; any bio info. Again, all these are optional.

The title will be The Necessary Language. Hope to get this going in the next couple weeks--I want to go to Europe in March, so this damn well better be up and running soon!

Once we have this going, it might be fun to do challenges, like base a story on this sentence.. or fictionalize a news story, that sort of thing. It's good practice and it puts a little benevolent pressure on.
