ok folks, who is interested in a review group to be handled over PM?
I know some of you have "work shopped" material on the forum, but doing it that way is not the best if you are going for publishing
Since anybody and his sister can access the forum, that is considered published (as once again Writers Digest reminded us)
So if anybody wants to participate in a PM group, well let me know
After there is some interest we can set the ground rules for working the group

1. I think that's a fine idea! |
|
And a nice use of DU as a "closed" forum for discussing works in progress without "publishing" them.

2. Yep, I was raedying my copy of Writers Digest |
|
I think I'll finally get a subcription and they reminded me of that litle detail again
Now as to genres
I say anything goes....
Novels, outlines should accompany a chapter
Short stories... sure, and they don't need an outline
;-)
now some rules, the first thing
review as you'd like to be reviewed... in other words, play nice
and leave things out of reivews such as YOU MUST... much kinder to do You should, or perhaps it would work better
And if people trust folks enough, private emails would be fine to do write ups with comments (word, open office and textmaer allow for them, I think abi word does as well, but don't quite me... I use abiword portable on the laptop these days... don't ask)
