so these days one of the non fiction markets I am looking at does net forms. Here is the trick. The body of your proposal cannot be longer than 200 words.
So I spent all day editing 200 words...
No, never ever send a first draft, or a second draft or a third draft.
So it took all day to get that to where I wanted it... oy.
Done. Sent...
And at one point I would have at best, edited it once.

They wanted a jacket-cover synopsis and I think it took me a week before I had it where I wanted it. I've never worked 100 words over so hard.
