Does child tax credit apply to Embryo-Americans? |
|
from our fearless leader today:
Turning to the controversial issue of embryonic stem cell research, Bush said that the extra embryos created during fertility treatments — estimated to now number around 400,000 — should be adopted.
"There's an alternative to the destruction of life," he said.
Hey, if I can adopt one of the blobs of cells and collect the child tax credit--and why not, since these people equate a blob of cells with a living, breathing child--then I'm all over it!

if they adopt an embryo and it doesn't implant, is that murder? lol So they have to keep "adopting" and "murdering" until it works?

5. The ignorant fuckwits who come up with this stuff |

think gawd makes every fertilized egg implant and turn into a baby overnight with absolutely none being flushed out of a woman's system. That's why they want only one ovum fertilized and implanted at a time. The ignorance of how even normal reproduction works is staggering, never mind assisted reproduction.
Where do you think they're going to find 400,000 women willing to have somebody else's egg implanted in their uterus so they can face death giving birth to it? Right. I thought so, too. Willingness won't be part of the equation.
Then, how are they going to identify all these adopted embryos that do make it to adulthood? I mean, think of the INCEST that's going to be going on when brothers and sisters who have no idea who they are start to marry. I mean, icky doodle.
All the hysteria and outpouring of sentimentality from the right fringe hasn't resulted in a single preacher's high school daughter being implanted with one of these things, I notice. I don't think the first daughters have put their uteruses up as incubators, either.

Personally, I perfer Emily #31 and Liam #14, but I'll have to ask Mr. kt what he thinks.
What is lesbians want to adopts? Would that be ok, or would sanatorum consider that out-of-wedlock petrie dishing?

Last time I heard of a single woman who was a virgin trying to become pregnant through in-vitro fertilization, several churches put a stop to it post haste.
They objected more to the virginity than to the fact that she was single.
And remember, these are the people who think sex is icky.
