|
http://health.msn.com/centers/breastcancer/articlepage.aspx?cp-documentid=100149408>1=8816Talk about taking the wind out of the sails of the anti-choice "you will get sick, die and go to hell if you engage in sexual activity outside of legitimate procreation" campaign.

1. I just heard the bastards on the local news |
|
call RU486 the "morning after pill."
I'd just tuned in for the weather, was shocked that these blow dried airheads are still getting their "health" information out of right wing antichoice religious tracts.
I am beyond angry.

2. Good news! And more than that |
|
it's been known for a while that your ordinary birth control pills will reduce your risk of ovarian cancer by 50%. I've seen that statistic in several places. You have to have been on the pill for at least 5 years to get the benefit.
Not only that, many doctors prescribe them for massive mood swings and painful periods (I'm talking about the kind of periods that are so painful that you'd see a doctor for it).
