The protesters were out with photos again today |
|
It may be another week or two before the surprise tactic hits. But the local police that usually don't get near the clinic, were driving by regularly.

1. Waving Photos Or Taking Them? |
|
Were the protesters waving photos or taking them? Since many PP and other organizations provide medical care to many low-income women who otherwise couldn't afford them, many of those patients actually aren't at the clinics for reproductive services at all. I sincerely pray that a few of the self-righteous (expletives deleted) snapping pictures who then post the photos on their loathsome websites get sued down to their socks by some angry patients who had only been at the clinic for a pelvic exam or a mammogram.

2. The protestors will harass everyone and anyone |
|
The clinic I volunteer at is in the same building as an eye clinic. I've seen these protestors harassing elderly men, elderly couples, and even a woman and her mother who were anti-abortion and told them so. All were headed for the eye clinic and were glad of an escort to keep the crazies away.
The anti-abortion woman had a long talk with me about how nuts the protestors were and how thankful she was that I was there.
It seems to me that the sidewalk harassers consist of men (most of them), post-menopausal women (a few), and maybe one woman who could theoretically get pregnant.
Someone is going to have to invent the Embryo Beaming Device to non-surgically remove the contents of one uterus and insert it into another. I volunteer the sidewalk harassers as the first recipients.
