Closing a highway in a very nasty heavy traffic corner. Use this address in google maps: 1100 W Mission Ave Bellevue Ne. The air base is just South of all this. Wonderful. I'll be there. I'm a pro choice union thug! :-)

OMAHA (KPTM) - National activists on both sides of the abortion debate descend on Bellevue this week. They'll either be outside protesting or supporting Doctor LeRoy Carhart's abortion clinic.
Carhart has gained national notoriety because of his plans to continue the work of murdered Kansas doctor George Tiller. The planned demonstrations have caught the attention of both police and neighbors.
It's never been a place without controversy, but Saturday it's possible hundreds of people from across the country will show up outside the Abortion and Contraception Clinic of Nebraska. "We really aren't expecting a particular number of people, but what we are expecting in the end after all this planning and information gathering is a peaceful event," said Capt. Herb Evers of the Bellevue Police Department.
Bellevue police have been perfecting their security plan for more than a month. Streets surrounding Doctor LeRoy Carhart's clinic will be closed to traffic and local, state, and federal agencies will help the department manage protestors and counter protesters, as well as extra traffic because of the show at Offutt Air Force Base. "We're switching some days off, we're paying a little bit of overtime to get enough people, enough police officers on scene there," Capt. Evers said.
Miles from the clinic, residents in Bellevue's Nob Hill neighborhood are also taking notice, passing out fliers warning "it's possible that we will see the truck and/or protesters in the neighborhood."
