Only tangentially related to the Maye case, but here's one more data point supporting the notion that there's an unfortunate "cowboy" menatality that pervades drug cops in South Central Mississippi. Got this email this morning. The sender wishes to remain anonymous for the time being.

1. Good for him......

for filing the suit I mean. Pearl River......just drove through there the other day on my way back from NOLA. :eyes: Even if the guy loses his job he'll have no problem finding another. Pharmacists are in HUGE demand. There's no way he could lose the case, unless of course rural Mississippi, good 'ole boy "justice" rears it's ugly head. What a farce!

2. Cops are power junkies

who like to throw their weight around. Such hysteria over pharmaceuticals! Pretty incredible!
I hope this guys sues their butts off! And I hope those cops are reprimanded, and this goes on THEIR record!
