Why don't Dr.s give diet pills to people before they become obese?
I know diet pills are additive but, so is food to some people. Either addition can kill, true?
I guess I just don't have enough information on the subject.
Can anyone gander a guess or a answer?
Thanks, LS

2. Not if you are addicted to junk food or any other fat producing food. |

Do you understand addictions? Nothing is easy for addicts just look at how many obese people there are. If it was easy there would be no problem.
Any idea why Diet pills are not used as part of medical process?

During the '70 amphetamines were widely prescribed, probably over prescribed. The dangers are not just the unlikely possibility of death, but physical and psychological problems. Most of the physical damage is because of increased metabolism and inadequate nutrition. Psychological problems include anxiety and insomnia, lack of sleep.
I am not sure that preventing obesity is worth creating a bunch of wired out speed freaks.

spikes in your glucose and insulin. That causes the hunger and weight gain. You can eat all the fat and protein you wish and never gain any weight. Just keep the carbs, especially the refined one under 60 grams a day and eat all you want. read Good Calories, Bad Calories by Gary Taubes.
It worked for me and was way too easy.
Best of luck
