The Kids Are All Right
makes its HBO debut tonight. About a lesbian couple whose children find their sperm donor. Pretty good film.

4. Is that the one with Julianne Moore
and Annette Benning? I'll just mind my own business while I salivate over fellow Sagittarius and glorious redhead Julianne Moore.

I promise to keep the drooling to myself.

I know it's probably a contradiction, but the gayest show on TV right now is Rizzoli and Isles. If those two had more chemistry, the set would explode. And they are "straight". Watch one episode. Just one. Dorothy Snarker on After Ellen has hilarious recaps of the show. It's X&G gone to extremes. They even have Twitters to each other that are, if not suggestive, then I live my life in the Little House on the Prarie, and I'm the one that died in the first season.

5. We have it on now
We had high hopes and the cast is great. Sadly it's so dreadfully boring my wife is about to hang herself and I'm too close to comatose to stop her. :boring: Granted it's not as boring as The Terror with Jack Nicholson but it's up there. I'm glad, however, others have enjoyed it.

7. I'm glad you enjoyed it
It was probably our taste rather than the movie. While we sometimes like dramas we're more into horror (like the Saw films and anything with zombies) and cheesy sci-fi garbage. Sapph is trying to get me into musicals but that's an ongoing uphill battle for her...

8. the part of the film that struck me as bizarre
and frankly offensive, was where they were watching gay male porn. I thought that was just weird.

10. Same here
Neither of us care what people enjoy (so long as they don't harm others) but I couldn't imagine getting off on gay porn and Sapph hated the way it (and the dildos) reinforces the notion that lesbians need men to get off.

9. I really enjoyed it...I think Julianne Moore made the movie...I found
myself getting iritated with her character, but afterwards she was the character who stuck with you, and really was the center of the movie.

Liked several of the characters. Thought it was a bit overrated, but really enjoyed it.

12. I liked it.
Mark Ruffalo somehow achieved a new level of hotness in that film. I don't know how he managed to do that....
