From yesterday's NYTimes:
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/27/us/27partners.html?src=rechp In the first comprehensive count of domestic partner benefits by a federal government agency, the Bureau of Labor Statistics found that about one-third of all workers had access to health care benefits for same-sex partners.
This is a good answer to questions about where the next battle will be. It's specifically about gay partners, but health care effects everyone. It also points to the need to recognize marriage equality at the Federal level, since many people get their health care coverage through a spouse.
