I would LOVE to see Jane Rizzoli be a Susan Ivonova and Maura be the Talia Winter we all knew she could be. Courage on everyone's part is all that is required.
Great writers, the actors are the ones taking the leap.
I've written my own little Kahlan/Cara fics, but this one has, in my opinion, greater momentum.
Jane and Maura would be about the sexiest lesbians ever imagined, outside of Cara and Kahlan, Susan Ivanova/Talia Winter.

That she is supporting Sarah Palin? If she did, my opinion changes. But I need a video of her saying so, and I'm sorry, my friend.
Edit: No, I'm not sorry. People said all kinds of horrible things about Lucy Lawless (of Xena fame), and she was still having kids and being straight, while portraying a gay character.
Mind you - It drives me up the wall that Angie Harmon is a Republican playing what is arguably the most butch roll on television, but I do at least acknowledge her intent.

Nobody on that show has the balls for what you're suggesting. The show has a huge gay following, but it will never go there. They'll tease and "wink wink nudge nudge" but at the end of the day, the show will be heterosexual until the very end. The pre-season publicity was all about how these women are straight straight straight! and how delusional their lesbian fanbase was for thinking otherwise. They've since tried to backtrack, we'll see if it worked. So far, I think the first three episodes of the new season have been a hot mess (and not in a good way).
Watch Warehouse 13 instead. They acknowledge their lesbian subtext and are absolutely gay friendly. It's a much better bet.

I might be one of the few people here who Susan Ivanova and Talia Winters are, but other than that, I am COMPLETELY lost as to the meaning of this.
