I was at the founding state convention of the LGBT Democrats of North Carolina today

we have our bylaws, we have our President etc, and we have a chair and vice chair for most of the Congressional districts. Woo hoo. We hope to be official after the state convention this year. It was pretty gratifying to see, in North Carolina, that we are finally being asked at the beginning of races and not at the end to provide advice and help instead of just money and votes.

The state party chair spoke to us in person and we had some DC people on video and skype. I think we are very like to get certified this year.
