Remember the Pride bracelets I told you about? Karma is wild! |
|
Well,I just so happened to be wearing an armfull today-I was in Dallas, looking for the resource center (I never found it...will try again). So,dejected,I stopped at Sonic. My Carhop saw my bracelets, and asked "Are you one of the family?" I smiled, and gave her 4 for each of the employees of the Sonic in Oak Lawn. I then stopped by our local Brookshire's grocery Store.(In Smalltown,Texas)A woman and her partner were there shopping for groceries-they saw my pride t-shirt and smiled.I slipped a few more bracelets off and gave them to them...we all smiled in solidarity. It's funny how little acts of kindness grow. I guess I have a new hobby!
