When you are displeased because it took many, many months for a politician to respond to a question |

then it is time to consider that, from the point of view of geology, the response was practically immediate!
Note: it's important to distinguish between a response of some kind and an actual answer. However, getting a response is the first step, provided that the response at least indicates some understanding and not merely a knee-jerk or software-enabled response.

...perhaps you mean that politics is from a geological time point of view as in: the span of time over which geological processes take place, generally thousands, millions, or billions of years. :yoiks:
