So... How do we approach Treason??? |
|
I see this as our only approach to taking on Bush. Currently, Bush and his administration are responsible for covering the Saudi's asses because Bush financiers would take a nosedive if the Saudi financial institutions responsible for funding the 9/11 attacks had their assets frozen. The hijackers come out of Saudi Arabia, the Bin Laden family continues to financially support Osama and charity organizations set up by Saudi Royalty continue to operate and fund terrorist cells. Saudi controlled schools and media continue to promote anti-american sentiment. However, Bush declares Saudi Arabia an ally.
This administration puts us in Iraq on intelligence they knew was false and outdated. Then they bankrupt the taxpayers by giving a quarter of the money being allocated for the war effort to the investors of various corporations. People wonder why our troops aren't getting enough equipment when we're paying through the nose for this war. Well... When investors are getting a quarter of the money being allocated for the war, you're going to come up short on the logistics end.
How do we show people that this administration is selling the people out in order to protect their personal financial interests.

2. Remember Gonzales' Words |
|
During his confirmation process, AG Gonzales specifically refused to address the issue of whether he believes that the shrub should be shielded from all criminal prosecution during time of war. It was a tacit yes.
This does not mean that we should not pursue impeachment, expulsion and then prosecution of the shrub but we must remember what the opposition will do.
