Gang Members Learn Deadly Skills In Military |
|
FWIW - this one looks like one of those TV sweeps story. But thought I'd post it here for comment.
Some of America's most notorious street gangs are turning up in the military. But they aren't just serving their country. Instead, many are taking the opportunity to learn a very deadly trade.
NBC 17 has learned there is a growing concern with gang members enlisting in the military with the hope of learning the art of war.
Detective Hunter Glass is a an Army veteran and Fayetteville gang officer.
"We do know through intelligence that some gang members are actually sent into the military to learn about military tactics," Glass said.
Glass showed NBC 17 footage of a known gang member just back from Iraq firing on two California police officers -- he kills one quickly using tactics perfected on the battlefield.

4. Gangs are not the real concern. |
|
I know, for a fact, when I was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington, that some of the soldiers that I worked with were training militia members up in the mountains of Washington and Oregon on the weekends. Groups that are intent upon over-throwing the United States government and have no problem with doing so violently. Being Black I was never invited -- because I surely would not have attended -- but these guys are the ones we have to be concerned about, because they are intensely critical and serious about the violent over-throw of the U.S. government. Though you hardly ever hear about them... Funny observation -- when Clinton was president I remember seeing these groups on TV all the time talking about how Clinton was destroying the Bill of Rights and the Constitution, and now that it is actually happening - silence. Bugs the hell out of me. I don't get it. We should not be concerned about the gangs nearly as much as we should be concerned about these militias that are VERY serious about domestic terrorism to achieve their distorted realities. Gang members are not intense on the same level, nor are they nearly as dangerous.

I remember in the 90's those wackos scared the hell out of me that they just might pull some idiotic stunts - and I guess Oklahoma City certainly was one.
I was especially fearful for Clinton and his family.
It is amazing that the talk dried up about Black Helicopters, UN taking over the US, the road signs, Turner Diaries, etc. Though I think they are certainly still out there lurking.
