DOES fox news need to be put to justice? Is it wrong for them to state their political beliefs on the news networks? Is it wrong for them to support men like Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck? Or are we too harsh by calling them Nazis? You decide ladies and gentlemen, and be as candid as possible.

1. They have the right to say whatever they want without government interference. |
|
It's just that it calls itself "news". To that extent the 1st Amendment doesn't protect them from regular citizens calling them out on their lack of journalistic integrity. PRoblem is that nobody has much "journalistic integrity" these days.

2. They have the same First Amendment rights as anyone else. |

They are entitled to state their opinions, as stupid and pernicious as they may be, and the government may not take action to shut them down. However, members of the Obama Administration (and anybody else) also have the right to call them out by pointing out that they are *entirely* an opinion network, and that they do not deliver objective news. And if we want to call them Nazis we have the right to do so. Whether that is too harsh or extreme is up for debate.

3. Stating their political beliefs is perfectly fine |
|
so long as these opinion programs are not presented as being "news."
But I suspect you knew that already. As near as I can tell, there is no "news" as such on Fox.

4. No. They can call themeselves "news" if they want. But other media should be calling |
|
them out on that, if only to protect what little little validity they still have as news organizations. The fact that all the corporate media is siding with Fuck just makes it imperative that the administration make that distinction clear. They should not be "shut down." But neither should any Democrat nor administration official ever appear on that network. Shutting them out is not the same as shutting them down.

That doesn't really count for shit, fox is the most widely watched news network mainly because most republicans can't understand the internet. All democrats are doing by NOT appearing is feeding their idea that the party is run by cowards. We end up in shit creek without a paddle regardless of what we do because a republican spin is a republican spin, but calling them NAZIS is a little too far in my book.

5. It's not "News". It's propaganda twisted to fit their agenda. All day long. They |
|
are protected by our Constitution and can say what they want, but we and the president can also criticize them for their false "news".

Fox News is no more biased than the big three networks, CNN and MSNBC. They have a strong left tilt, and no one complains about them. Actually, Fox probably helps balance the Hooey that the Big Three put out (and I don't want to stop them, it's their First Amendment Right). I just don't understand what the deal is with people pushing to LIMIT our Bill of Rights, whether it be the First, Second, Fourth Amendment or what ever. WAKE UP>
