If information on a tax-exempt organization is publically available.. |
|
on-line or thru a FOI request, can that information be distributed to others by the person receiving it? I'm speaking of certain financial filings required by the government, which must always be available for inspection by potential donors and which appear on several websites set up for the purpose of providing potential donors with information.
Thanks.

1. If that document was received legally after... |
|
... examination for privacy information, and you are speaking of a Form 990, then I'd say yes.

which I obtained from a website which makes such info publically available. It's Schedule A which I am interested in, which includes salaries/payments to Officers/Directors/Vendors.I believe that Schedule is always available, altho certain notes to it may not be.
I may even have the right to inspect & copy the document on the premises of the organization under my state law. I'm going to check on that tomorrow.
I'm interested in distributing the Form to individuals entering the organization, or at least summary info gathered from it.
