1. yesterday i was in Northampton...

There were about fifty protesters outside the Courthouse with signs and shouts... "Justice for Jason!" Apparently there was a pretrial hearing.

It's a big case around hereabouts.

I sincerely hope the charges are dismissed, but this has to go further.

The officer who altered witness statements needs to be prosecuted.

4. The individuals in question

have been a pain in our collective ass for years.

By rights they should have been in jail already.

I feel really bad for the Vassell family.

5. just read the document...

The most thorough explanation that could be hoped for. Jason will have excellent grounds for a Civil suit against Lt. Thrasher (could he have a more ridiculous name?) and perhaps the University/Police Dept as a whole.

There was a travesty of inJustice here.

Somehow brings to mind the book Blink by Malcolm Gladwell...

The individuals in questionhave been a pain in our collective *ss for years.

By rights they should have been in jail already. I feel really bad for the Vassell family.
