Any of you seniors like me from Massachusetts? I have just |
|
been laid off and will lose the Medicare supplement my employer was paying in lieu of regular BC-BS. I will now need to buy a supplement to Medicare. I do not mean the Drug coverage, I have to go without that. Some companies, I understand, offer good policies and others are awful or will not write in MA. Any of you using a particular policy that you are pleased with? I have to start looking around.
Thanks

1. Get one that has an agent where you live, |
|
and doesn't have "out of area" clauses but covers all. That's what we did.

4. Sorry you got laid off. Afraid I know nothing about Medicare supplements. |
|
I'm still some years away from that.

5. Find a local agent who is licensed with all the co's that offer |
|
Medicare supplementals. I found one here in Ga. and he was a BIG HELP! An agent like that knows the differences between all the different policies and will find out your needs and explain your options.
I don't know anything about Ma. and since things are different even beween counties here in Ga. I wouldn't want to suggest anything to you.
