A recipe for those of you who want to make your own low calorie, low fat lattes.. |
|
Mocha: Mix half pack low fat/sugar cocoa mix, and a heaping teaspoon (or more) of instant coffee with a third cup of hot water. Add around two thirds cup of non fat milk. For a rich, creamy texture add several TBS French Vanilla creamer (liquid). Stir. Heat in micro a couple of minutes. Whipped cream makes a nice topping along with few shaves of dark chocolate or a dash of cinnamon. Tweak it any way you like. Use creamer flavorings of your choice. Leave out the cocoa mix. We just enjoyed one on a cool, rainy day in So Cal.......z

3. I always used powered cocoa in my coffee. |

For some reason chocolate syrup is too sweet, so I don't use it that often. I call your recipe "poor man's mocha latte." Convenient, too. I'm not especially picky about my coffee, but I just like it HOT.
