Does anyone have experience with AARP's supplementary medical ins.? |
|
I have a very high deductible health insurance policy, and prices for medical services here in Minneapolis are quite high, so I'm not getting some of the periodic diagnostic tests that everyone is supposed to have, given that affording the upfront payment is a stretch (and I'm already reeling under dental expenses).
While the AARP plan would double my monthly premium, it could very well pay for itself by making some of these tests affordable, since it doesn't seem to have a deductible and touts itself as being suitable for meeting expenses in a high-deductible policy.
Is this true?
Personal experiences, anyone?

3. So far, so good with AARP Part B, plan 'F'. |
|
I did a lot of research and talked to friends already on Medicare. AARP looked like the best deal and Plan 'F' is the most popular. My current monthly premium is $151.50/mo. It's deducted from my S/S check.
