5. Heck, even I could climb THAT. I hear there's a nice walk-up route just |
|
out of view on that right side.
Probably best that my climbing days are over. My judgement might be a little flawed at my age.

6. Turn left at the south col |
|
Wind your way through the Khumbu and the Western Cwm, up the Lhotse Face, turn left at the South Col, climb the Hillary Step and follow the summit ridge until there's nothing higher. Piece of cake. I've done it many times in my mind. But my climbing days are behind me as well.

They place ladders and fixed ropes on the really tricky spots. Might want to pack some mittens as it looks like it can get a little chilly. :) http://ih3.redbubble.net/work.4132533.2.flat,550x550,075,f.mt-everest-climbing-crossing-ladder-through-khumbu-icefall.jpg

11. Thanks. Better than the Yahoo story that doesn't even have a frakkin link is: THE LINK: |
|
to the webcam. http://www.evk2cnr.org/WebCams/PyramidOne/everest-webcam.html
Damn, I hate stories that talk about shit without providing the reader a link to the thing discussed. K/R for bringing it.
