A question about child abuse/advocacy |
|
Hi! I am new to this forum. I am thinking of starting an e-business to sell the baby clothes I make, but I wanted to donate the money to a reputable organization that combats child abuse. I am having a hard time wading through all of them that come up in my searches. I don't know which ones are legitimate and efficient. I thought someone might give me some ideas, point me in the right direction. If you know of any that serve my area, western Pennsylvania, that would be awesome.
I look forward to being in this forum more often!

1. I think the place to start is your county prosecutor's office |

Generally they have a victim advocate who can put you in touch with organizations that help victims of sexual and physical abuse.
What a great cause to donate time and money: best of luck.
