My friend got horrible flashbacks earlier this evening while we are at the bar because some assholes near us made some sick jokes about "getting some sluts drunk and raping them. :grr:

Someone here, not long ago argued that the term "slut" had lost it's sting as an insult. I disagreed.

Judging by the sound of those sick fucks (and much porn which verbally degrades the "sex object")..it's grounds for rape.

I guess it's like war. Dehumanize your victim with terms like "gook", "sand nigger", "slut" etc. It makes it easier to hurt them.

I hang out on a singles site now, too, and there are many, many, many threads on their forums that use rape as a recurring punch line. When the hell did rape become such a joke to guys? Honestly, it's hard to tell when they're serious about getting a gal drunk and maybe drugged up so they can get laid or when they're joking--because rape isn't a fucking joke!!!

When a few of us point that out, they attack us for not being with it or hip enough to get the joke. Um, I've been sexually assaulted, assholes, and my STBX's sister was drugged, kidnapped, and raped, so, no, it's not a fucking joke!!
