Are nipples "private parts" of the body?

All parts of one's body is private. Doesn't belong to anyone else

5. Men don't normally wear tops when they go swimming.

That means their nipples are for public viewing.

Women nurse their babies. So on rare occasions, their nipples are also seen even if sometimes inadvertently. So, I don't think that nipples are private parts.

I wish that our society were more tolerant about women nursing babies. Trying to bare a nipple to a baby without baring to the world is generally not too difficult, but once in a while things go wrong.

contended that women's breasts are there a feeding tubes, not as sexual organs for men. I see no reason at all for women to have to cover up other than a man's desire to suckle at her breast as they did at mommy's breast.

9. Depends where you are standing

IIRC In Canada no and likewise in some US States. While in others a Woman could find herself in deep trouble for going topless. While a male is permitted even if he has a pair of DD's.

I think it's up to the individual to decide. And given the number of places where it's technically legal yet they are covered even in extreme heat. We can infer that many/most think they are a private affair.
