I don't really have much to say on this, but I thought I'd give everyone else a blank slate for discussion since this seems to be the dominant theme in this and most other gender issues forums.
It has in fact become an entire genre of journalism and media entertainment.

Men are so insecure that they're intimidated by a woman who has any sort of intellect.
Men also can't stand women who:
1. challenge them in ANY way.
2. Are talented
3. Are confident
