Does DU have or need a Research thread or ? for basic Womens Rights Information?

Rather than argue occasionally uninformed opinion on subjects that there is plenty of available research on;
Rather than waste time reposting the same references, info or resources over and over and over again;
Rather than dispute terms or effectiveness in maintaining appropriate levels of respect for female members

is there a need for a Research Thread or other central resource that people could be referred to for basic information?
